If you prefer to make dishes with your own pulled chicken, then here is a great time saver that worked like a charm for me: http://pinterest.com/pin/28006828902279936/. I make a lot of dishes that require pulled chicken (pot pie, jambalaya, chicken and dumplings). Now, I know that I could save myself some time using canned chicken, but I prefer the taste of my own pulled chicken, and I also think the canned chicken could be more costly, and the good news is that now, I can make my own pulled chicken in half the time and everything will be home-made...right down to the dumplings!
Want another incredible time saver, meet the sock bun curls tutorial, here. Thank you, Pinterest! I love this way of doing my hair! It saves me time and it also means that I will not be putting damaging heat to my hair. After I hope out of my shower, my hair is curled in less than two minutes. And the curls last-it's a little bit of big-Texas-pageant hair when you first take it down, but it will fall to soft wavy curls. Love it!
It's the little things in life that bring the most joy...so here are our little things.

pinterested?
I have a confession, I am super-addicted to pinterest. I am in serious need of a pinervention. Serious, very serious. But I was thinking, is this just another place for me to file away ideas and never actually use them, like my collection of torn out magazine pages with ideas. Am I going to be idea rich with no creations? Where is the fun of that, just sitting on the couch searching for ideas and never implementing? So, I am going to do something from my pinterest boards every week up until the holiday season gets too overwhelming and I can't do anymore.
Here is my first pinterest. Yes, I started with food, seems simple enough. I made fried pickles. See the recipe here. I made it for a football gathering and everyone liked them. The pickles (I bought thicker sliced hamburger chips) are in a beer batter. I bet the batter on some chicken tenderloin would be close to the Chili's chicken tenders. The funny part was me looking for a single can of beer at the grocery. The beer man asked if I needed help-ha! This recipe has officially graduated to my Confirmed: Yum Recipes board. Here is how they looked:
